Water Updates
Wed 27 Aug 2008
Arapahoe Drive will be off through the Labor Day weekend from the intersection of Arapahoe Dr. and Valley View to the intersection of Arapahoe Drive and Forest Meadow Road. Crews are still working on this section of line and will not have it completed by the weekend. We are sorry for any inconvinience this may have caused, we are trying very hard to fininish the line in a timely matter and be able to provide a safe and usable water distribution line.
Mon 18 Aug 2008
All of Forest Meadows water is back on with the exception of Arapahoe from the intersection of Valley View and Arapahoe to Forest Meadows Dr. This section of line will be turned on every 1500 feet as completed. All of Forest Meadows will be left on through the Labor Day Weekend and will go back down in order to make the connection of Forest Meadow Rd and Grand View Lane. Once crews reach the intersection of Forest Meadows Drive and Arapahoe all of Forest Meadows will be back down until they reach the intersection of Forest Meadow Drive and Grand View. Once this section of line is flushed and has past all water quality tests Forest Meadows will be turned on again. If you have tanks please be sure to fill them before the Labor Day weekend. Thanks again for your patience and kindness to all crews.

We have now completed the section of line from the intersection of Navajo Rd. and Arapahoe Drive down to the intersection of Arapahoe Drive and Pine Meadow Dr. All water has pasted bacteriologic tests and is approved to use. The pipe line however is to the intersection of Arapahoe Dr. and Valley View. When we tried to turn the line on to flush it, it was noted that we needed and additonal pressure reducing valve for Pine Meadow Dr. This PRV will provide us the pressure we need for Pine Meadow Drive and also allow us to turn the PRV up to get pressure to Forest Meadows. The line still needs to be flushed to the intersection of Valley View and will take place on Thursday and Friday the 14th and 15th of August. Once this is complete we will try and provide water to the Forest Meadow side. When we do start to fill the Forest Meadow side it will probably take two to three days to fill all of the lines. Please keep in mind to fill your storage tanks if you have them the water will be going back off when the pipline reaches the intersection of Arapahoe Dr. and Forest Meadow Rd.

The line running from Arapahoe Drive and Navajo to the intersection of Pine Meadow Drive is complete we have been flushing that line for 1 week now. It seems the flushing of the line is not getting all of the bacteria out so on Thursday (31st of July) we began to put chlorine in the line. Once the chlorine is in the line we are going to let it set for the weekend of August 1st 2nd and 3rd. On the 4th we will once again begin to flush and get rid of the bacteria on Monday night we will take a sample it takes 24 hours to get a reading on this. Once the passes this sample we will turn it on ASAP. Thank you for being patient regarding these matters. We want to be able to supply a safe and enjoyable water system.

Water will still be off for the 24th weekend and we will try to turn it on the middle of next week. We tried to turn the water on and had a mechanical failure do to high pressure. This unforseen event set us back a couple of days to fix and try to get water back on. We will try to have Arapahoe Dr. from Navajo Rd down to Pine Meadow Dr. and I-Plat by next week. We appoligize for the inconviniece and are working very hard to get this done.
PINE MEADOWS RANCH OWNERS ASSOCIATION is requiring lot owners to post their LOT # and/or at the entrance of their driveway or by the road in front of their lot. This is to benefit emergency personnel, the county Sheriff’s office, the ranch manager and the water manager. PMROA would like this completed by June of 2006.
