SYSTEM UPDATE AND WINTER HELP TIPS

December 7th, 2007

Winter is here on the ranch and we just want to give you an update on the current system status and some winter help tips. The current status on the water system is good everything is up and running and all looks great heading into the first of the year. We did complete the valve for I-Plat to improve water pressure in this area and would love to hear from anyone spending time at there cabin to let us know how the pressure is. All areas will be left on until further notice or unless we have an unforseen problem. Please contact the water company if you notice any problems with your water or see any other problems on the ranch (801-461-0171 or 801-641-0111 or contact your area rep.) In the winter there are a couple of things to remember, if you dig your meter up to turn it on or off always make sure to pile snow back on top of the lid this acts as a insulation and will help it from freezing. Always make sure that your meter is off if you leave for a long period of time. We have had situations where they have been left on and the pipes in the basement or under the cabin has froze and split creating a lose of thousands of gallons. If you do have tanks please make sure that they are always full and ready to go if the water is shut off, even if you dont use the water in the winter you can use it in the spring or summer to keep the water from going stagnent. Please help us on your end to try and keep the water on through the winter by just doing these simple tasks. We thank you for such a great year and hope we can continue to serve your needs and requests.
Thanks again from Management.

WINTER HELP TIPS

October 18th, 2007

Once again winter is upon us on in Pine Meadow Ranch and we would like to give you some tips on your water to help it through the winter. When you leave your cabin always remember to shut your meter off out by the road this will keep the water from freezing in your basement, but also on your property where your water line is. If you dig your meter out of the snow to do this always make sure to pile the snow back on to it to insulate the meter and meter setter. You can also put some insulation down in the meter pit to keep this from freezing if you do insulation make sure it is loose and not packed in. Another good tip is to mark where your water meter is so you know where it is if you have to dig it up. We will be trying to leave areas on this winter so these little tips also help the water company out.

BREAK IN FOREST MEADOW AND NORTHERN PORCUPINE LOOP

September 28th, 2007

There was a break in the intersection of Forest Meadow Road and Norther Porcupine Loop. We had to shut the line down at the intersection of Arapahoe Drive and Forest Meadow Road so everything North of that intersection will be off till further notice. We will begin to fix it Monday morning and may carry over to Tuesday depending on what it was that broke. Thank you for your patience regarding this matter.

ELK ROAD STILL NEEDS TO BE FLUSHED FULLY

September 14th, 2007

We are still doing vigirous flushing on Elk Rd. to get our bacterial sample that line is so long it is just taking a while to flush it. If you are concerned about the water quality please get drinking water from Bobcat or at the gravel pit.
