WHAT APPEARS TO BE A LEAK ON ELK RD.

February 14th, 2010

We have received numerous phone calls on what appears to be a leak on Elk Rd. This is a spring running down to the road and due to a blocked culvert the water is making its way out on to the road. We do however appreciate every phone call we have received and we do take every call serious regarding water. Please keep the calls coming if you notice anything out of the norm. This time of the year is very difficulte with the warmer temputures melting off the snow and alot of the water is running down the road. Once again we do take all calls serious and check on them as soon as they are received. Thanks again and we hope you enjoy your time on the ranch. Thanks Management of PMMWC

LEAK OFF 200K TANK

December 28th, 2009

On Dec 26th thru Dec 27th we developed a leak off of the 200K tank which was detected by the telemitry system at the office. We are losing around 11 gallons per minute and have not narrowed it down to a certain road. We will begin the process of elimination after new years day begining to isolate roads that feed from the 200K. The roads include Elk Rd., Alexaner Canyon, Aspen View Dr., Chipmunk Way, Woodchuck Way, Beaver Circle, Windy Ridge Dr. and Windy Circle. If your cabin is on any of these roads and you or a family member was using your cabin you might want to check it. Once again if the water company finds it you could be billed for the time of the employees to find it. Thank You and have a Happy and Healthy New Year…

LEAK FOUND MORE TO BE EXPECTED

December 8th, 2009

We found the leak on Lot C-20 on Running Deer Circle this was due to a meter being left on and no isulation in the meter pit with very little snow cover. This leak cost the water company a lot of man hours and well over 100,000 gallons of water. Once again please shut your meter off if you are not intending on being there. Thanks to all those who called the water company with possible leads we really due appreciate the public eye in these situations.

LEAK ON RANCH

December 5th, 2009

We have a leak on the ranch losing about 40 gallons per minute crews have drove all the roads and have come up with nothing. We at first thought this was a frost plate and still could be, but we are also leaning towards the idea that it might be in someones cabin. It has been cold the last week and if you left your meter on it could have frozen in the basement. It might be a good idea to make the extra trip just to check and also spread this on to your neighbors. Monday we will be isolating valves to try and narrow it down to an area. We will be starting by shutting all of Forest Meadows off for 3 to 4 hours this should not affect your water for all day. Once we narrow it down to Forest Meadows or Pine Meadows we will start isolating valves in these areas to find the problem. Please keep in mind if it is on your property you will be billed for the water, but you could also be billed for the man hours it takes to find it.
