LEAK ON RANCH
December 5th, 2009We have a leak on the ranch losing about 40 gallons per minute crews have drove all the roads and have come up with nothing. We at first thought this was a frost plate and still could be, but we are also leaning towards the idea that it might be in someones cabin. It has been cold the last week and if you left your meter on it could have frozen in the basement. It might be a good idea to make the extra trip just to check and also spread this on to your neighbors. Monday we will be isolating valves to try and narrow it down to an area. We will be starting by shutting all of Forest Meadows off for 3 to 4 hours this should not affect your water for all day. Once we narrow it down to Forest Meadows or Pine Meadows we will start isolating valves in these areas to find the problem. Please keep in mind if it is on your property you will be billed for the water, but you could also be billed for the man hours it takes to find it.
